The DJK Group of Companies supports and assists the communities we operate in to be better places to live and work through a variety of ongoing sponsorship and support programs. We take great pride in supporting charitable and community-based programs and encourage our personnel to contribute to these initiatives. Through the K Cineplex vehicle, we continue to provide charity gala cinema events and make donations to cultural and sports organizations, children's activities and humanitarian projects.
The DJK Group also is a constant contributor to the health and well-being of people around the world and is a dedicated supporter of a number of international health organizations and global initiatives. Donations are directed to the Leukaemia Foundation and the Cancer Fund in the hope that these organizations which work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of victims, will one day soon find the universal cure for these indiscriminating diseases.
Our greatest resource is our staff; we strive to protect and enhance their health, safety and well-being. We take responsibility by implementing management systems and undertaking assurance audits to improve on-site environmental impact and enhance health and safety performance. The DJK Group's Workplace, Health and Safety Management System Assurance process is developed to ensure our work and building sites meet international requirements.
