One of our major strengths is portrayed within the film, cinema and entertainment industries. In our cinema division the principal vehicle of expansion has been the development and opening of several multiplex venues in Cyprus. Following the successful launch in 1999 of Cyprus' first Multiplex Cinema and entertainment facility in Limassol; the DJK Corporations, concentrated presence in the Film and Cinema markets has been consolidated with the opening of a further 2 multi-screen entertainment complexes.; the opening of K Cineplex in Larnaka 2001 and the unveiling of DJK's activity and mega entertainment facility in the island's capital, Nicosia.
In 2007, the second K Cineplex multiplex opened in the capital city and is situated at The Mall of Cyprus. This trendy multiplex is equipped with the best the industry has to offer, sound, vision, seating, concession stand and box office.
DJK's development of the multiplex entertainment facilities has been strategic in its cause and has proven a pronounced revival in film attendance and an upsurge with cinema patrons throughout Cyprus. The venues are fully equipped and fitted out with the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art screen and sound technology; accommodating 22 screens and seating for 5000 movie buffs in uniquely designed surrounds of total luxury and viewing comfort.
We will continue to grow the business and are about to commence new state-of-the-art mega facilities and entertainment parks, strategically located in Nicosia and Limassol.
Prospects are positive for even further continuous growth and expansion in the Film and Cinema industry with a series of major new attractions and themed facilities, which will be a first for Cyprus and the Mediterranean. When complete, these venues, will provide points of difference unbeatable technology and feature entertainment facilities of the future; designed to be unique and exciting destinations.

In the year 1994, the American Embassy awarded the DJK Group of Companies through its vehicle D & H Film Distributors, the Commercial Diplomacy Award for distinctive achievement in the cinema industry. This award is in honor of the company's active campaigning throughout the 80's and 90's to revive the film industry.
